Due to insufficient registration, the National Inhalant Conference set for Nashville, Tennessee, August 22-25, 1997 has been postponed. Dates have not yet been set. However, if you or individuals you know are interested in receiving conference information, please notify NIPC at 800-269-4237 or via e-mail to be placed on the mailing list.

The National Inhalant Conference will bring together a diverse group of experts from throughout the nation who will help maximize participant skills through a cumulative process of providing background information and research updates (state-of-the-art for prevention, intervention, treatment and aftercare), "how-to's" (such as developing an awareness campaign, advocacy methods, working with the media, community mobilization, developing and utilizing curricula, developing public service announcements by kids, educating health care workers, etc.) and, finally, providing concrete examples of successful prevention programs.
