Life can be very difficult when you’re not getting hard. Trust me, I know.
In addition to wrecking your confidence and your love life, erectile dysfunction can put a hurting on your wallet. Viagra can cost hundreds of dollars per prescription, and buying herbal solutions can leave you vulnerable to scams.
Fortunately, you can now buy Sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, for a fraction of the price you’d pay at a brick-and-mortar pharmacy.
One of the companies that have made this possible is BlueChew.com. They hook you up with a doctor who will review your medical history and write you a prescription for erectile dysfunction medication.
Now, you’re probably wondering, “Does BlueChew work?”
I wanted to know, too — and so I decided to find out for myself.
My Experience with BlueChew
The story I’m about to tell you is a little embarrassing. It’s about the events that caused me to consider giving BlueChew a chance in the first place.
You see, I’m only 39 — way too young for erectile dysfunction, right? Apparently not, as I learned the hard way (or is that not-so-hard way?).
It turns out that I’m not alone, though. Erectile dysfunction is extremely common in men as young as 30. Different studies have come up with different numbers, but anywhere from 11-50% of men in their 30s will suffer from ED at some point.
Turns out, I’m a statistic.
The first time I struggled with erectile dysfunction happened after a night out with my girlfriend. We’d been drinking and dancing, and she looked fantastic — all night I was thinking about what I’d do to her once I got her home.
Then we got home — and I couldn’t do anything.
“Ok, no big deal,” I thought. It was probably all the booze, right? Then it happened again. And again.
Soon, I was struggling to perform almost half the time, and my sex life was in the toilet. My girlfriend thought I wasn’t attracted to her anymore (definitely not true) and I was afraid something was seriously wrong with me.
I tried several different solutions to try and solve the problem (more on those later), but nothing worked. Then one day I was surfing the internet and I saw an ad for BlueChew.com.
I was incredibly skeptical. I thought, “You’re telling me I can get the same active ingredients in Viagra and Cialis at a fraction of the price — and I don’t even have to tell a doctor about my problem?”
But you know what they say about desperate times — and I was a desperate man. My girlfriend was getting impatient with my little issue, and I didn’t want to keep her waiting. Against my better judgment, I signed up for the free trial of Sildenafil.
My order arrived a few days later, but things were so busy at work that I didn’t have an opportunity to try it right away. I finally had a little free time the following Sunday and decided to put BlueChew to the test.
I didn’t tell my girlfriend about it beforehand — I was still skeptical it would work, and the last thing I wanted was for her to think that Viagra and Cialis had failed me, too. I chewed the tablet in the privacy of the bathroom, and then I walked to the bedroom to see what would happen.
Have you ever seen a cartoon where the hero drinks a magic potion and immediately becomes super strong and vigorous? It’s embarrassing to admit, but that’s kind of what I was expecting —and that’s not what happened.
My girlfriend and I started making out, and I didn’t feel any different than I normally did. “How am I going to break it to her this time,” I thought to myself. I decided not to worry about it, and set out to make foreplay enjoyable for her, at least.
Then something funny happened. About 30 minutes in, I looked down and I was fully erect. No, that’s not really accurate — I was hard as a rock.
We had better sex that afternoon than we’d had in months. All her complaints went out the window, and so did most of my concerns about BlueChew.
Ever since that day, I’ve been a loyal customer. There have been a few setbacks, but overall my erections have gotten harder and more reliable than they’ve been since I was a teenager.
Issues I’ve Experienced with BlueChew
Nothing is perfect, and my BlueChew review wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention some of the downsides to the product.
They warn you that certain side effects are possible, and I experienced a couple of them.
The first time I took it, I became extremely flushed. My girlfriend noticed that I was getting red in the face, and she asked if I wanted to take a break. Given how hard I was, though, there was no way I was stopping!
Apparently, redness of the face is extremely common. As long as that’s the only symptom you’re experiencing, there’s nothing to worry about, and it will pass soon enough.
One other issue I had was a particularly nasty headache. It knocked me out of commission, and I had to explain to my disappointed girlfriend that we had to stop even though I was still hard.
However, I know why that headache happened: I took two BlueChew tablets that day.
I don’t know what I thought would happen — that I’d get the world’s mightiest erection, perhaps? Regardless, there’s a reason why there are dosage limits on Sildenafil. I guess those doctors know what they’re doing after all.
While those are the only two side effects I experienced, there are a few others that are possible. If you decide to give BlueChew a try, be on the lookout for:
- Upset stomach
- Ringing in the ears
- Blurred vision
- Backache or muscle pain
- Runny or stopped-up nose
All of these issues are fairly rare, and generally speaking they’re nothing to be worried about. However, you should seek emergency medical help if you experience any of the following:
- Erection lasting longer than four hours
- Swelling, hives, or other signs of allergic reaction
- Chest pain
- Swelling of lips, tongue, or throat
- Burning or blistering skin
What I Tried Before I Reviewed BlueChew
As I said, I was floundering before I found BlueChew. I spent many late nights online, trying to find anything that could possibly help my erectile dysfunction.
One thing that I kept coming across was an herb called Horny Goat Weed. It has a ridiculous name, but in my desperation, I thought that was actually a selling point. After all, if it could make goats horny, it had to work, right?
And here’s the thing: it did work. Kind of, anyway. The first few times I used it, I did get an erection. They weren’t blue-ribbon boners, but they were enough to get the job done.
However, I don’t know if I built up a tolerance to it or what, but it eventually stopped making any difference at all.
I was already nervous about taking those shady-looking pills, so the idea of ramping up my intake didn’t appeal to me at all.
I thought that since the Horny Goat Weed worked a little bit, there might be other herbal solutions that could make a difference. I started taking so many herbs I felt like I was turning into a garden.
Pax ginseng, Rhodiola rose, Yohimbe, Maca powder — I tried them all. None of them worked reliably, if at all.
I tried giving up alcohol. I tried acupuncture. I even started meditating, thinking it might be stress.
While the meditation and acupuncture were helpful in other areas, they did nothing for my sex life. It was still hit-or-miss whether I’d have an erection every time my girlfriend and I started fooling around.
So as you can imagine, I am extremely grateful to have found something that actually works. Not only is my love life vastly improved, but I can finally stop spending so much money on weird herbs from China.
How Does BlueChew Work?
I didn’t know what to expect the first time I went to the BlueChew website. I was afraid I’d find another shady site that promised the world — as long as I gave them my credit card info, of course.
As it turns out, though, those fears were unfounded. The BlueChew website is sleek and easy to navigate, and it makes the entire process as painless as possible.
You do have to make a few choices up-front (like whether you want Sildenafil or Tadalafil, which plan you’d like, etc.), but other than that there’s not a lot of decision-making to be done.
As soon as you decide on a plan, you’ll be taken to their health assessment. You need a prescription for both Sildenafil and Tadalafil, but don’t worry — you won’t have to have any embarrassing conversations with a doctor.
Instead, you’ll be given a short questionnaire to fill out. It’s mostly yes/no questions about your medical history so that their doctors can be confident you’re healthy enough to handle the medication.
It takes about 24 hours for their medical professionals to review your answers. If you pass, they’ll email you and let you know your order is on its way.
I got my order three days after my application was approved. It came in a plain box, with no indication of what it was, so I didn’t have to worry about the mailman learning my dirty secret.
Upon opening the box, I found my Sildenafil tablets (they look like little blue chews —go figure), some medical literature, and a thank-you note from the company.
All in all, while it takes a bit longer to get your medication than it would if you saw a doctor in person, BlueChew was definitely more convenient than going to a clinic — not to mention less embarrassing.
About the BlueChew Company
BlueChew was founded in 2014 on the belief that men should have access to convenient and affordable medicine to improve their love lives.
They currently offer two medications, Sildenafil and Tadalafil, both of which are made in the USA.
BlueChew has an entire staff of dedicated medical professionals that are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have any questions or concerns about their service, they are available to talk, free of charge.
What BlueChew Plans are Available? How Much Does BlueChew Cost?
BlueChew is not a one-size-fits-all service. They recognize that different men have different needs, and they’ve tailored their plans to accommodate those differences.
There are four plans to choose from: Active, Busy, Popular, and Pro. “Active” is the most basic, and it costs $20 a month for six tablets. “Pro” is at the other end of the spectrum; it costs $90 a month, but you get a whopping 34 tablets.
The variety of plans makes it easy to find one that works for you. You don’t have to spend more than you’re comfortable with, nor do you have to be swamped with more tablets than you could possibly take in a single month.
Personally, I opted for the “Busy” plan. For $30 a month, I get ten tablets. That’s enough to get me through an average month, especially since I don’t need the Sildenafil every time.
Don’t Forget the BlueChew Free Trial
You may still be asking yourself, “Is BlueChew legit?” Don’t worry — I was skeptical, too. And trust me, as someone who’s bought a lot of erectile dysfunction “cures” on the internet, you should be skeptical.
That brings me to one of my favorite things about BlueChew: their free trial. If you have a promo code, you can get one month of the “Active” plan for free (well, you do have to cover shipping and handling). Or, if you’d like to try one of the larger plans, the code will get you $20 off.
This allows you to put BlueChew to the test, risk-free. If you discover you don’t like chewable Sildenafil or Tadalafil or they don’t work for you, you can cancel without costing yourself anything more than a few bucks.
Is BlueChew Available Everywhere?
BlueChew is available almost anywhere in the United States, with a few exceptions. Currently, those exceptions are:
- North Dakota
- South Carolina
It’s also unavailable in Puerto Rico, Canada, and other international countries.
Will BlueChew Keep Me Hard After I Climax?
First of all, BlueChew is the service, not the medication — and there are two different medications to choose from.
Sildenafil is the active ingredient in Viagra, and it works the same way. That means you take it just before you’re ready to have sex, and it stops working after you’re finished. If you want to have more sex, you’ll need to take another tablet.
Tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis. You’re supposed to take that medication every day, and it will keep you prepared for sex whenever the mood strikes. So in that sense, it will allow you to get hard again after a normal amount of time passes.
Neither medication should maintain your erection after you climax. If your erection doesn’t go down, call a doctor.
Is BlueChew Safe?
It should be about as safe as getting medication from your doctor, yes.
Of course, that’s assuming you tell the truth on your medical questionnaire. The doctors at BlueChew can’t help you if you lie to them, so it’s important to give them all the information they need.
Also, don’t abuse the medication. Take it as directed, and only take the recommended amount (trust me, I learned this the hard way).
The active ingredients in BlueChew’s medications are all made in the USA, so there aren’t any questionable additives or anything like that inside. They’re not yet FDA approved, but BlueChew is working on changing that as soon as possible.
Is BlueChew the Same as Viagra?
As we mentioned above, there are actually two different medications that are available through BlueChew.
One of them is Sildenafil, which is the active ingredient in Viagra. The other is Tadalafil, which is the active ingredient in Cialis.
Now, they may not be exactly the same, as many times medications will have inactive ingredients that aren’t found in the generic versions. However, the important ingredients are the same, and they should be equally effective.
Is BlueChew Right for You?
As you can probably tell from my Bluechew review above, I’m a big fan of this service. However, only you can decide if BlueChew could help add some spice back into your love life. It’s helped thousands of men, but that doesn’t mean it’s for everyone.
However, if your erections haven’t been as hard and reliable as you’d like, Bluechew is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to get the medication you need.
You don’t have to talk to a doctor, you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg — and you don’t have to tell your partner, “Not tonight.” That’s all I ever asked for — and in my case, BlueChew has certainly delivered.h
